Swiss made Glardon Vallorbe® Round Escapement files have square handles. Escapement file lengths are measured from tip to the end of the cut and measurements do not include the tang. Escapement files are also called Watchmakers files. Round files are gradually tapered and cut to the point. Measurements given are at the thickest point.
