The JURA Micro-Filing Handpiece is a precision-engineered E-Type handpiece designed for micro-filing, deburring, and casting clean-up. Compact, strong, and silent, it provides artisans with maximum comfort and precision for delicate finishing tasks.
Its E-Type compatibility makes it highly versatile — seamlessly fitting the JURA Micromotor, Graver Plus, and Graver Pro systems, as well as most other E-Type micromotor systems. It is also parable with the JURA Microgrind system.
In addition, you can upgrade the JURA Microgrinder EQ.MGR.00 with the dedicated E-Type Micromotor. This allows you to combine the Micro-Filing Handpiece AND additionally use the Microgrind itself as a second micromotor for maximum flexibility at the bench.
Important:
The Micro-Filing Handpiece is designed to be used only with theFlat JURA Ceramic Polishing Stones (PL.CFS.-),which are sold separately in three grits.
Before use, these stones must always be shaped with the JURA Diamond Cutting Wheel PL.CW to achieve the correct size and form, depending on your task. “We usually cut one stone into three pieces, shape a tail with a maximum width of 2.7 mm and approximately 9 mm in length, and then form the tip into the desired shape for the intended job using the JURA Diamond Cutting Wheel PL.CW. Because the stones are supplied unshaped, this gives each user the freedom to prepare the tip exactly as needed."
What is E-Type?
E-Type means the handpiece is quickly interchangeable — simply pull it off and replace it with another. There’s no need for a separate micromotor. This makes the system highly flexible, efficient, and compatible with most professional E-Type micromotor systems.

Usage Notes:
- Always use this handpiece with the Flat JURA Ceramic Polishing Stones (PL.CFS.SET) — sold separately.
- Stones must be shaped with the JURA Diamond Cutting Wheel PL.CW before being inserted into the handpiece chuck.
- Build up polishing work gradually, start with rough, medium and then fine grit — let the handpiece do the filing/polishing for the best control and finish. Do not forse the file by pushing!
- Working with the JURA E-Type micromotor system is not the same as using a traditional hanging motor. It offers a more delicate, precision-driven approach.
