Similar in design to our 4" Compact Guillotine Shear (#27-075) also made by Pepetools, this model can work larger pieces. Innovative features include an upright lever that provides full control of the cutting process.
The unit also incorporates a large 10" x 7" feeder table that doubles as a miter box that is laser-engraved with lines to indicate when the included straight edge is at 0°, 15°, 30°, or 45°.
The overall length of the cutting blade is 6.25" which can cut sheet metal fully 6" in width. This blade is fashioned from high strength tool steel that is heat treated to 45-50HRC.
On the receiving side of the unit there is a material stop that can be adjusted to cut from as little as 1 mm all the way up to 6" (152 mm). The stop can be set to ensure repeated cuts of consistent length.
Constructed of machined steel and aluminum components. Holes are provided in the base of the shear for bolting to your work surface.
